Golden Gingerbread

Golden Gingerbread with a twist of turmeric is pure joy and such a breakfast treat!

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup spelt flour

1/2 cup oat flour

1/4 cup almond flour

1/2 cup buckwheat flour

2 tbs tapioca flour

1/2 cup date sugar

1.5 tsp baking powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground allspice

1 tsp maca (optional)

1 tbsp Golden Turmeric Powder 

2 tbs ground ginger

2 tbs ground flax seeds

1/4 cup water

3 tbs molasses

1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce

1 cup soy milk 

1 tbs apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped

1/4 cup raisins

1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped

DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine all dry ingredients, except crystallized ginger, raisins, and walnuts, in a bowl

2. Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes

3. Combine crystallized ginger, raisins, and walnuts, in a bowl

4. Combine everything all together

5. Bake at 425 for 40 minutes

6. Enjoy!
